  • Al Gore gave an impressive talk at Brandt Centre in Regina on Monday, bringing a lot of local Saskatchewan content to his award winning Inconvenient Truth presentation. He really caught the audience's attention when he mentioned the recent floods with nearby droughts here in Saskatchewan and pine beetles destroying forests were a direct effect of global warming. He also applauded Saskatchewan's use of wind power, stressing how we could become a world leader in the field. The 2 hour presentation brought standing ovation from the prairie crowd.
