Justin.tv is like a real life version of the Truman Show where the main guy Justin Kan wears head-mounted camera and streams live video over internet, for everyone to watch:"I am broadcasting live video of my life 24/7 to the internet. I started Justin.tv because I thought it would awesome for people to see what it was like to be Justin.I convinced three of my friends (Emmett, Michael, and Kyle) to join me out in San Francisco. Now, we're starting a company to make broadcasting live video on the web easy.
Thanks for watching Justin.tv. Let me know what you like and don't like about the show; I hope to hear from you soon!"
You can even add him as friend on Facebook and MySpace or follow his status on Twitter. Having only launched few weeks back, its already drawing a lot of attention.
The interesting part is that these guys originally launched Kiko Calendar, which was eventually squashed by the success of Google Calendar, who later sold their company on eBay. They are now taking new direction bringing reality content online, which is sort of scary because this may be start of a new trend. Just imagine online version of the Bachelorette, as the headcam follows Trashy-Teena through the dark corners Jaxx or Ryleys nightclubs!!
