Well, we are slowly but surely organizing for our upcoming wedding on August 25th, 2007. The service, reception and dance will be held at the Berry Barn, a beautiful spot along the South Saskatchewan River, here are a few pictures of the location. April has already bought her dress from Debra Dee's, which I'm sure will look stunning on her. My cousin Yasmin Dar, will be doing the photography for the wedding. The flowers will be provided by Flowers by Fred, weaving native prairie flowers, Fred has promised us nothing short of brilliant.April and I have decided on not having wedding party (groomsmen and bridesmaids) and instead will have our parents be witnesses during the ceremony. We thought it would be difficult to coordinate tuxes and dresses while being away in Halifax, and following in foot steps of my cousin Saleem, decided to keep our wedding very simple and practical.
We are still working on making invitations and organizing music, which will hopefully be done before I fly back to Halifax on May 13th.
